Bright-faced little boys need sponsors to thrive

Ethiopia counts one of the largest populations of orphans in the world: 13% of children throughout the country are missing one or both parents. This represents an estimated 4.6 million children – 800,000 of whom were orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
(Unicef.)

You can make all the difference in the world for one of these two shining little faces from Ambo, Ethiopia. With your House 2 House sponsorship, the lucky little boy will receive proper medical treatment, go to school, and remain in his community.

Both of these boys were identified by the local government (the Ambo Woman’s Office) as high-risk because of health and family situations, and are very deserving of help.

Sponsorship enables them to have adequate food, shelter, access to education and medical care, especially since many of these kids’ families are affected by HIV/AIDS.

If you would like to sponsor one of these community children, please simply click on the “Sponsor a Community Child” graphic on the left. In the “Add Special Instructions” area, state the child’s ID number, and we will match you with this child. Thank you so much!
